Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using UnforgeAPI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform immediately.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use UnforgeAPI. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Minors are not permitted to use this service.

Service Description

UnforgeAPI is a Deep Research API built for AI agents and developers.

• AI Provider: Our AI features are powered by multiple providers including Groq, Gemini, and Tavily. Your input data will be processed by these AI APIs.
• Nature of AI: AI is probabilistic. UnforgeAPI does not guarantee that research results, citations, or answers are 100% accurate, complete, or unbiased.
• BYOK Support: Users may bring their own API keys (Groq, Gemini, Tavily) for unlimited scaling.

Data Handling & User Content

• Your Ownership: You retain ownership of all queries and data you submit through the API.
• Query Processing: UnforgeAPI processes your queries in real-time and does not permanently store query content beyond what is necessary for rate limiting and usage tracking.
• API Responses: Research results and structured JSON outputs are generated on-demand and delivered to your application.

Subscription & Usage Limits

• Rate Limits: API usage is subject to the rate limits of your subscription tier. UnforgeAPI reserves the right to modify limits at its discretion.
• Non-Transferable: Subscription benefits cannot be transferred to other accounts or exchanged for cash.
• Free Tier: New users receive access to the Sandbox tier with limited daily requests upon registration.

Acceptable Use

UnforgeAPI is for legitimate research and development purposes. You agree NOT to use the API for illegal activities, spam, or to circumvent security measures of third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS." UnforgeAPI is not liable for inaccurate research results, loss of data, service interruptions, or AI "hallucinations." You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all API responses.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka.

Information We Collect

Account Data (Email/Username), API Usage Data (Request counts, endpoints used), and Usage Analytics.

Payments

We do not store credit card details. All transactions are processed by Polar.

Third-Party Disclosure

We share query data with AI providers (Groq, Gemini, Tavily) strictly for processing your API requests. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

Data Deletion

You may request full account deletion at any time. Upon deletion, all account data and usage history are permanently removed.

International Transfers

Your data may be processed in servers located in Sri Lanka or where our third-party providers (Groq, Gemini, Tavily, Polar) operate.

Digital Goods

Since subscriptions grant immediate access to API features, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

Subscription Periods

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Check your dashboard for current billing periods and usage limits.

Technical Errors

If a payment error occurs with Polar, contact support to have your subscription manually activated.

Exceptions

We may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis for:

• Duplicate charges due to technical errors
• Service unavailability for extended periods
• Unauthorized transactions (with proper documentation)
